About HAT

HAT (Hellenic Association of Treasurers) is the professional association representing Treasurers and senior finance executives in Greece, Cyprus, and the Hellenic Diaspora.

With a membership of approximately 400 professionals, HAT brings together senior executives and finance professionals from the real economy, serving multinational groups, large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as public-sector and non-profit organizations.

The Association operates as a national and international point of reference for the treasury profession, advancing professional excellence, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

It seeks to strengthen the strategic role of treasury within organizations and the real economy, while supporting the development and recognition of current and future treasurers across the broader financial ecosystem.

HAT is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, including four officers. The Association’s management is led by Elena Stamatiou, while the Athens-based office is responsible for secretariat functions.

HAT’s activities are delivered through a structured governance framework, supported by committees and working groups that advance its mission and engage its membership.
